Before you begin filling out the exercises, try to be as relaxed and open as possible, because the more unconstrained and receptive you are, the better you can access your deep inner feelings. In fact, you may want to try some deep breathing, or even meditate before you start, or even better, use a relaxation tape. (Tapes are available in our store).

When you are filling out the exercises, enter whatever first comes to mind, whether it makes sense or not, since the first thing that comes to you is usually directly from your unconscious. You will find that your responses are always an accurate reflection of who you are and how you are feeling on a deep, authentic level.

Your answers to these exercises will change according to the way you are feeling, so you can come back and try them again and again, for new insights into your current state of mind.

If you want more information about the way you have responded to an image, or if you uncover something that you feel needs closer examination, you may want to enroll in the Following Your Path Workshop, where you can get feedback and counseling, and exchange ideas with other workshop participants.

Your answers are private and will not be saved, so you may want to print out your responses, as a kind of personal journal. You can also purchase a workbook of these and additional exercises, as well as more complete definitions and explanations, in our store.
